OK, so I've read the threads about Conc/Fanat/Might/etc. that don't affect tornado damage, but what about Amp damage curse...? I am assuming so, but I can't find anything on it in this forum...

Yup. tornado is pysical damage. Sometimes you'll see necro/windy pubs using combos like that against you

If only the gavel of pain had more than 3 charges :(

Tomb reaver on merc might not be a bad idea though

Reaper's Toll is pretty much the merc weapon for wind druids; the itd and solid leech are nice, but the 33 percent ctc decrepify (which will boost tornado damage via lowering physical resistance) is wonderful.

I've always wanted a Wrath bow as a windy merc weapon, with 30 percent decrepify it'd be just as effective and way stylish on Elly.

Amen to that = )

I know it wouldn't be as effective, but how about an excecutioners justice on the windy? ctc on kill works with spells, right? It's not as sought after as reapers and doesn't require runes like wrath, and who can deny the coolness of a small druid wielding a humongous axe?

Sry it doesn't :/

It doesn't work with spells? Aww, but you still kill it :(

yeah, its a good idea though...

well, I guess.. you could try using a Atmas ammy, Lacerator (throwing axe)/SS in combination with a Windy  That would be pretty pimpn lol

Assuming around ~200 dexterity, AR might be a problem. Maybe hsaurus combo is an option... but IAS would be the biggest problem. Treachery, lower IK set, or 15ias/xx jewels'd prolly be a must... could be fun though

yeah, quite good damage, especially if they hit twice. Or you could carry 4 martel de fers in your inventory and 1 on switch, so you could get 15 amp's before needing to recharge. Of course the loss in skillers would probably make the outcome still not-so-great
