is the lance blue - that's the best lance colour IMO

by saying level 80 hammerdin - do you mean CS? because CS is a bit different IMO

That lance is nuts. I would not be surprised if only a couple better drop over the next year on your realm (better being 320+ with -req, in my opinion, and that's debatable).

Best rare I've found this ladder in terms of pure value was a pair of 30 r/w, 39cr, 34 lr heavy boots on the second or third day of ladder. If you count SOJs as being "rare", I've found two of them.

Oh my god that lance :) The mana leech and cold damage makes it insane, don't have to worry about it any longer :) Seems to be blue color <3 and he has that blue armor there also :) would make a nice blue baba! I think u cant get blue bone helms anymore tho?:)

New lance. Not as great as the first one, but deacent min dmg (only 1 less than in the 198 ed). Ar sucks bad so maybe wrong thread as its not awesome. Still i have already sold the blue one and had no lance, so i traded this for my speeder until i can acquire better one.

Guess I could post my baba amu tomorrow when I get home (drinking booze atm!). Traded it for ama amu I found from dia. +2 11str 2x fire 3x light res 13mf xtra gold.
Baba amu is something like +2 5str 20dex prismatic.. If I remember tomorrow you will see a shot :) Only other nice items I have is couple nice sorc wands, guess I can post them too.

Kicky amu akse. Unfortunately barb and ama amulets are not very expensive. Bvb's need for angelics have dropped the price of barb amus pretty low. Still its very nice for a speeder, even without stacked cold res. Especially on a lancer :)

For reference my sorc amu is worth around 3 sojs (sold it ~ 2sojs cause tired of long trades)

Heh yeah it was a while since I played my barb. Was doing some LOD which got me pissed off cuz first time I got PK'd. (entered wp and bang someone hacked me to death :()

Anyways my full vita speed lancer in non ladder SC has similar +2 17/18 str/dex but doesnt have any resists :) So thats about the closest one of my amulets so far :) I guess this beats them all.

Yep. A sorc amu with those stats would be worth many sojs. My sorc amu just +2 16 prism and 12 dex = 3 sojs. With your mods would have been rather pricy ^^

Naa trying to build a full req exe bvb with it, but don't have good enough nate that i would socket with emerald and thats why cant wear my def items yet. I have a 17 fhr 95 ed 38 life 8 dex nate, but i'm not yet sure if i want to socket it...

It was solo cs run (3 chars) As i don't use hacks -> public cs runs are not good place to acquire nice items.

If you cant run him alone, maybe You could make mf cs runs with your trusted friends and share drops...

It is with a sad heart that I hereby announce my somewhat retirement from diablo2 classic.

A mix of different things in my life has caused me to lose the interest in re-leveling all my chars and start building up my final pvp account as I had hoped to do this ladder. I had most of the items sitting on mules ready to be put to use but now I have decided to sell them instead of letting them collect dust for who knows how long. And God knows I hate to do this :weep:

I will, however, keep my bvb items and level my barb from time to time just to have a bit of fun pvping.

I genuinely hope that I can get a lot of things sorted out so that I may again find the joy and time to play d2classic.

I will still be around though :smug:

Thx for posting the items here on dii.net. Like i said to you earlier most of your items are collectors stuff. Just thinking about the chance that such a ring would actually spawn makes me dizzy. Man 10 fcr 40 life and perfect tri res no poison. Meh What r the odds ::crazyeyes:

Are you sure the cap has 33 fire res? If it does you must play on NL where such a pre-lod would be worth quite a lot I would think. More than a gull anyway.

However, you should use the price check thread to get an estimate of its worth. Too bad its not yellow actually :D

Looks like I just missed him, one guy said he had just been killed. Or does it say this even if he's been killed a while ago in a game you join? Pretty stoked, never actually seen this happen.

Mind you, people will also say this to get you out of the game so they can go kill him.
Nothing to gain though, DClone drops nothing in classic and he does not give party XP.

Thanks, I was pretty happy since I've only ever gambled about 5-10 amulets in total (level 88 now). Might just trade it for some nec gear, only focusing on my pvp nec atm.

I really hope ladder resets soon, dying to make Healer/Cleric. I've had a few low ones in HC (R.I.P) but none in softcore. Not sure if I want to waste that much time leveling on a fairly stale ladder, I'd much rather do it as a first char on new ladder.

Heh i meant that has anyone seen it in game? Because on the site your refer to there are some items on trade that are hoax. For example on eu there was a nice +2 197 ed max dmg -30 req exe, which had offers on it etc but the item was never dropped in bnet -> my question was more that does monze know the fellow who's offering it or has seen it in trade window ^^

Bec hits a lot tho.. I have one with 255 only in flayer atm tho but it really feels like its killing there a lot faster than with martel.

Hmz i think it kills faster in flayer, because Becs have 5 range vs marts 3 and those small dudes in flayer got so little hit points that becs dmg is surely good enough... Mart wins in river thought, but since i know that u have river barb i know that you know that marts better for river :yes:

I had some tight stuff during when I played classic (1.04 - 1.09 D2, then went to xpac).

Sadly, no pics. From memory, my best goodies:
(Some of these modifiers may no longer be possible due to them being prepatch)

1. A 240ish def Grim Helm with 40% lightning resist, 40 life, and 13 dex.
2. +2 barb 310 lance 11% mana stealz.
3. +18ish prismatic amulet with mana leech and 20% MF
4. 40%+ cold lite fire resist boots w/ fastest run (no fastest hit reco :().
5. 175 grim scythe with 9/11 dual leech.
6. 161 exec sword +200ish AR (this damage was before the damage bug on exec swords was fixed)
7. 151 exec sword 9% life steal. (same as above. I think the damages were about 230 after the fix.)
8. 240 martel w/ cold damage and +200ish attack rating.
9. +2 necro +76 mana fastest cast wand w/ poison resist and +blood golem.


And that's all I can really remember... I had a few good rings too... but I forgot what the mods were.

Kind of wish my old hard drive hadn't crashed. I had a whole folder of the images saved. Oh well ;(

Joob > I think that ring as it is, will not fetch a high price. If only it had some (100 or more) AR to compliment that +damage.
Or slightly more res, perhaps even just some str.
Personally, I'd just keep it for oddities sake, since it has the highest possible damage added on a ring(as you already indicated).

Woah, showoff is on page 3 and should be on page 1. Found this beauty about 2 months after the last ladder reset. Most ED on exceptional weapon i've found in all my years of playing. Always meant to share so here it is.

Thinking it needs to be socketed though. At the time, didn't have the soj do that. Only wish it had the 75 durability as it has to be repaired 3 times per cow lvl. I have a couple of backups i use, but only 250ish damage.

That is just... cruel. I knew Mephisto was evil, but this is beyond proportions.
They told Mephisto he should give your character the axe, but I guess Mephisto misunderstood.

There isn't a cheaper way, though there was.
Please don't ask what this method was, as I tend to view describing such methods as 'information about hacking' :)

As for the helm, it really is, as Lorg descibes it, borderline or just not.
almost perfect def, ok life(40 is max atm I think), one and a half res.
What it comes down to is what it always comes down to, how many SoJs a person has to burn.

Its only good for bvb. -> fhr is not needed, extra ar almost max def and good enough life... Could have been better ofcourse but for bvb it deserves a soj.
