One thing I've been thinking about is how to make killing enemies funner.
One way for me to think is that if you fire arrows at an enemy the arrow will get stuck in their gut/arm/head/etc. (unless it's an arrow that passes through, then make them have a hole through them), so if your an archer you can load enemies with arrows all over their bodies if you feel like it. This would add more realism, and at the same time more fun in killing enemies, rather then shooting them with an arrow and they just fall over.
Another way is when you slash or bludgeon an enemy they take decals of that damage, like if you were to slash them, it would show on the enemy (or take an arm off), if you were to bludgeon an enemy they'd have marks on them from it (would depend on the enemy though).
When you cast spells on an enemy say for example: Fire Bolt, the enemy hit with it would get a scorch-mark.
Err, Ideas? Comments?
