Has anyone noticed the gem button on Blizzard's D3 homepage? Just above the words "And the Heavens."

I used the search function and didn't find any threads about it. I guess they may have just added it.

nope its been there since day 1, and its just a gif animation so no event is tied to it

It's not just a gif; it's flash. I just never noticed it before.

Know it sounds odd, but I would be rather disappointed if they didnt bring back the chat gem. Far to many comedic moments over the years....

Useless buttons are awesome, especially when they hint at possible changes to game states. Long live the bnet gem!
