I'v lost all interest in current games, anyone feel the same way? All I want is diablo 3. I spend all my time finding out new information about the game.
Good luck to production of DIABLO 3

Yes. I am hoping this one will change that.
EXACTLY !!!
the only MMOs that have been able to hold my interest for long are guild wars (boring after 2 years lol) and i even tried RS for 2 months...
Diablo i only have been playing for 1 month and really like the systems :D
SO DIABLO 3 has to be beyond great to rescue the RPGs !!!

i would not say i lost all hope for games, there are some i still enjoy alot and others that are a complete let down (thank you oblivion). i enjoyed nwn2, like the story and had fun with it, i do wish however that i could get my hands on a bg3. however, right now d3 stands head and shoulders above any other announced game at this point

In the past year or so I've played Oblivion, Dungeon Siege 2, The Witcher, Titan Quest, Overlord, and I'm sure a few more RPG types I can't think of. They are all ok, but I never got 'addicted' to any of them. I probably spent more time playing D2 (yet again) than any of them.
I admit that I was sucked in by WoW a few years ago. I loved the game up until there was nothing left for me to do but raid. I hated relying so much on other people and having to commit so much time in a single sitting. Thankfully D3 will be much easier to get in and out of.
Since the annoucement I've been spending all my gaming time reading up on D3. There isn't a single game in development or otherwise that I want to get my hands on more. It's kind of frustrating, I wish I somehow didn't know about it until a week before it's release. At least I'll have SC2 to make the wait less painfull.

After quitting D2, I rarely play computer games anymore. Played a few FPS, some strategy games, but never got addicted. I feel only one game in the entire universe will be able to suck me back into the world of gaming addiction is Diablo 3.

Well not that I have lost all interest in games, but I just don't play games right now, expect for some Dota and starcraft several times in the month!
Though I'm really looking forward to few games that I will certanly play in the future and those are:
Diablo 3, starcraft 2, Majesty 2, Mafia 2, Doom 4 and maybe Far Cry 2 if i can run it properly!
I spend all my time finding out new information about the game.
It's funny, the current "RPG" I've involved myself with is talking nonsense in these forums.. I realize everyone else here, is busy doing the same.. and yet, no new information exists here, it's all lies, whining, treachery, and more nonsense.. Too bad I can't just give away all my posts (and quit, like I could if I were playing D2, why aren't I playing D2? anyways?? what the hell am i doing here? trying to find more nonsensical information?? NONSENSE!!) Meanwhile, I'm already addicted to posting nonsense! UGH!! I have to wait a whole stanking year, hell it might as well be 3 more years.. until D3 arrives.. NO!!! All this, because some diabolic friend of mine sent me a link to the DIABLO III WEBSITE! Why'd I have to find out about this so EARLY!! Like why couldnt I have found out about this.. say 3 days before it hit the store shelves? Instead, I'm tortured by any new tidbit of info, and seeing how slow Blizzard is to update their pages.. .. RUBBISH!!! IM GONNA GO INSANE!! .. oh wait I already am... MUAHAHAHAHHA .. ok time to post more nonsense!!!
still hoping left 4 dead is good, still need to play ninja gaiden 2. Pretty hyped about re5...
Only game I'm plaing this week is lumines Live! though.
There are loads of games I'm hyped about at the moment, in fact I don't think I've ever played as many games in the past as I am at the moment.
These are the 3 key games for me though:
LittleBigPlanet, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3.

The D3 gameplay trailers were dangerous.. Haven't played D2 in a looong time (long enough to loose the CDs) and I got all caught up like a deer in rut and ended up getting ripped off by a scam website for game downloads in search of D2... Its the only game that has done this too me and I thank it and hate it
DIII will certainly be a welcome change in the current state of affair as gaming goes. Most games that are out nowadays are FPS which I do not enjoy. The last game I have been enjoying for a while is Heroes Of Might and Magic which is not exactly new. I am also looking forward to Starcraft 2 that is due in not too long, this should hold me till DIII comes out. Another game that I am expecting and it's taking is sweet time is Disciple 3. I have enjoyed that game quite a bit but it's been a long while since the last release. Anyways, there is not many games that get me excited that much before its release and I certainly hope it meets all of your expectations.

Ah yes Spore, I just dont know what to make of that game. I fervently dislike the Sims, but perhaps this will be a lot better :)

Yup nothing feels like much anymore.. Diablo 3 sounds awesome on so many levels!!
BTW I've rediscovered the original Diablo :) I played D2 again but it got boring real fast with the current community. Diablo 1, on the other hand, is having a good 200-strong b.net community right now. Sure, the game has its quirks and oddities but I've learned to like those as well. On many levels it's more fun than D2 - if you have time to give it a chance.
