Simple and straightforward.

Please refrain from posting comments about why you choose what you did and submit which choice (if any) applies to you.

Option #7 should read 7-12. I goofed.

This is a bit one-sided is it not? Only those who think D3 looks like WoW can vote. What about "I don't think the palettes are the same and I like the D3 palette".

You can't create thread with the word phrase in?

Played D1, D2 and currently play WOW on and off.

I'm going to wait until I see more but to me it looks nice. I don't particularly see a difference between 3 and 2, though a big difference between 2,3 and 1.

And I'm not voting because my opinion isn't in those listed.

I don't think it looks like wow at all.

Sorry Elly if you read his post you can clearly see he doesn't want any comments on the quiz.

Which begs the question... why make the thread? :scratchchin:

good question...

the guy is making it seem like WoW came out before any diablo game, too...

Looks like most people voted "What is WoW?" out of protest :p

Actually if the art style reminds me of any game its WC3, the over emphasized curves and muscles, the color palette, and especially the look of the outdoor areas. The camera angle is a big part of this as well.

Maybe not so much out of protest....I am a Diablo fan which is why I am here on this forum. I never played WoW, and I figgure there are others like me.

But you know what WoW is. And I assume so do the other people who voted that option. You don't have to play it to know about it.

It's the only option that let's you say you didn't play the game, though. A very flawed poll indeed.

I'm indifferent and I played for over 1.5years.

I admit I might prefer it a little darker, but all in all I'm here for the game. As long as it doesn't literally look like teddy bears (unless its the ones from Conker's Bad Fur Day) fighting marshmallows and the game itself rocks, I'm cool with it.

Can only agree, Ive played both diablo1 and 2 alot, and the same with wow, about 160 days game time or so, and NO this DOESNT look like wow at all so no vote from me...

To clarify:

I made this poll a few weeks back to find out if there was a direct correlation between people who are fans of World of Warcraft, with those that like the new color palette. I also wanted to find out if the publics opinion of Diablo 3 was essentially biased by Wow. For example: What do you think people's thoughts would be if wow never existed? (hypothetical question)

Call it what you will, but i wanted to see how it panned out whether this was a "one-sided" poll or not.

My theory was that many of the former and current wow players, who very much liked the game, would enjoy seeing the new "gothic...without gothic" style.

I find it humorous that people are taking this a bit extreme, rather than viewing it as a random poll made out of curiosity....

I'm not surprised by the reactions at all. The color choice has been an heated argument since the D3 announcement.
