hammerdin/1pt smiter skill layout please!

Would someone please explain me the skill layout of a Hammerdin/ 1 pt smiter.
Any games i join and ask about it, im being told im a noob. I have the gear for the smiter but i rather not want to make another pally. So help me out guys?:thumbup:

If you have the right gear, just build a normal hammerdin:

20 conc
20 bh
20 vigor
20 Blessed Aim
Rest in holy shield

Or if you want, put like 10 into holy shield and rest into Smite, doesn't really matter, it depends on your character lvl and dex and +skills to get max blocking. the extra points in smite wont help very much, so you may wanna just go all holy shield for the block % and smite dmg and def.

Switch to smite gear when u wanna smite, use conc and smite together, easy as that really?

There are several guides here if you look for about 30 seconds at the guides in the paladin section - they are very helpful and will teach you much more then you don't know that you don't know. I was here reading them some when I read your post for example.

You will be much wiser once you have read them, then trying to gain information in game from most players. Good luck to you in game.
