A question about sockets

Can I expect 3-socketed crowns and masks to drop in normal cows?

I'm asking because I've seen 3-socketed large shields, but not crowns and masks

edit: after looking at the sockets wiki I guess not, but no harm asking I suppose

nope, for 3 socket masks. they do NOT drop in normal cows.

u have to go to nm (nm=nightmare, norm=normal) cows for 3 socket masks.

also for 6 sockets u probably need to be in hell difficulty. i don't think there's any place in nm where u can gt 6 sockets (weapons) or only very few places.
