Frenzy Barb, Fire Sorc, ???

So my one friend is playing a frenzy barb, my other friend is playing a fire sorc and I'm at a crossroads as to what I should make. I'm thinking either a lightning sorc or a windy druid.

Now I know the light sorc is item intesive...and I don't care. We're not min/max types and we just play for fun. No hours of mfing, no trying to get monster gear, just a few friends playing together for ****s and giggles, trying to make it through norm/night/hell and dying all the while :D

I'm just wondering if either of those would mesh well though. Our frenzy barb tends to get rather...rambunctious...and I figure the light sorc would help with charge bolt/chain lightning spam...but the windy would be helpful from the hurricane cold and some extra physical from the tornadoes.

Or am I barking up the wrong tree to help out here and would another class/spec combo be a better fit into our group of stooges

Windys dont deal as much damage that you want it to deal. They need just as much of great items that lite sorcs need

I would tell you to go with a lite sorc

you already got a frenzy barb tanking so an extra elemental dmg from the back wouldn't hurt ;)

Ah, I was under the impression that wind druids aren't that gear dependant...ah and my friend that's playing the fire sorc, talked his gf into playing a light sorc, so that avenue is covered :thumbup:

Don't head for a light sorc. I have a full geared one, does 44k lights. This was EXPENSIVE. Without proper gear, these sorcs do minimum damage, and are useless in hell. (Light immunes need to be broken by a mercenary with infinity.)

Personally I'd say go windy druid, and hope for a 2skill\3nado pelt somewhere o.o

Or something else entirely if you can think of something you like. I know you don't care about items but three casters sharing would kinda suck.

Frozen arrow ama? That's kinda caster-ey though.
