I just managed to secure the Ancient's Way waypoint in Act V Nightmare, but my DT/trapper is only level 56, and my gear just isn't all that. I don't feel ready to take on The Ancients, and I'm not ready to beg someone to rush me through. I'm a solo monkey who runs with scissors and doesn't play well with others. Where should I be spending my time to farm for drops and xp?
What I have:
-Rare Circlet w/life and good resists
-+20 prismatic amulet
-rare blade talons w/20% IAS, +112 AR, 4% mana leech, +1 mana per kill
-Stealth light plate
-Ancient's Pledge scutum (I really needed the resists)
-Blood-crafted sharkskin gloves w/5% CB, 1% life leech, and 10% IAS
-Cathan's Seal (my only real life leech)
-Magic Battle Boots (can't wear War Boots yet, 117 str)
-rest is blue garbage
I have a two-socket blade talons, but I've been hesitant to put Strength in them, as I only have one Amn, and I am tempted to save it for Spirit. I also have a couple of perfect rubies, but I want to wait til I can get some magic vampirebone gloves (and a reasonable clvl to craft them). I've also nearly refilled my stash w/gold after my stupid deaths in Chaos Sanctuary (thou shalt not kick through the Iron Maiden curse), but I figure I'll save my gambling til I'm ready to move on to Hell.
Spec so far:
20 Dragon Talon
20 Death Sentry
10 Lightning Sentry (where my points are going currently)
I've not done any trading or muling, though that will have to start at some point. I might not be able to farm up a Bartucs or Gore Rider, but perhaps I can farm something that someone might want in trade for such.
