An Old New Comer...

Like many others these days since the announcement of Diablo 3, I decided to play Diablo 2 to get back into the feel for the game.

Soo.. I am making an MF Sorc to start my collection of items to use on other characters I make.

My current build that I am deciding to use is:

Fire Tree:
+1 Warmth
Lightning Tree:
+1 Static Field
+1 Telekinesis
+1 Teleport
Cold Tree:
+20 Ice Bolt
+1 Frost Nova
+20 Ice Blast
+20 Glacial Spike
+20 Blizzard

At this point right now, what level would I be to have 85 skill points?
From there on I would pump points into Cold Mastery and that should be it.

Any thoughts?

You should put one point into Cold Mastery early on as well, as the first point helps quite a lot :)

You should have 85 skill points at level 78 (77 from levelling, 8 from Normal+NM Den, Radament, Izual). You can get it as early as level 74 if you complete those 3 quests also in Hell.

If you intend to play on your own without help, you should consider having a backup skill in either the Fire or Lightning Tree, as you'd otherwise have trouble getting through Hell. Fireball is a popular choice for sorceresses using Blizzard as their main skill.
