Strange drop... bug?

Hi all. Been playing for a couple years off and on and never seen anything like this:

Tal's ammy dropped from Normal Diablo. This is a season 5 ladder drop, and im wondering if its some kind of 1.12 bug?? Or do I just not know the rules as well as I think? Thx.

Was it a quest kill, that has a 1:8396 chance of dropping at 0MF

If it was a CS run for exp, then the odds were 1:12379 with 0MF

Either way, you were very lucky

It's not a 1.12 thing, it's just very rare (like Normal Baal dropping SoJ)

Tal's ammy can be found very soon, end of second act in normal IIRC. Nothing strange about that.
