Im currently using this armor for my merc. 1250 def I think. Is there anything I can do with it to upgrade it via the cube? I'm pretty sure it can be turned into the exceptional version (shadow plate??) But my merc cant equip that for another 40 str.....can I cube-socket it and double the eth bonus, or is that for white items only?
