Spirit shield or Lidless (str requirements worth it)

I am starting my newer sorc up and want to know if all those points in str will be worth having the spirit or should I just stick with my p diamoned lidless. Just want to know because I know vita will be important since my gear is not so great.

The shield gives +22 vita itself remember.

Most sorcs get around 60 strength or so. You only need 120 base to easily equip a monarch. Ultimately the difference can be made up with (imperfect) ani and torch, before then the extra +36 you need is not that difficult to get, not for such a nice items as a spirit shield.

If you compare what a spirit has OVER the lidless(+1 skills 15% fast cast 55% hit recovery), just those things themselves could make a half way decent item.

I never much liked things being totally locked in and inflexible, but i can not see any real reason someone would NOT go spirit shield unless they were making a pvp character and wanted block.

I know its kind of depressing, im a big fan of blocking=P You will be happy with spirit
