Is it a good move to socket an Occy?

i'm working on a MF meteorb sorc, and got her up to 83 and found an occy. You think it's a good idea to add sockets to it? If so, what would be best to put in it?

I have two occy's that I use very regularly. One is socketed with an Ist rune for an additional 30% MF, and the other is socketed with a +15% resist all jewel for use while questing. I don't regret either socketing choice.

Socketing all your main gear is never a waste! There are alot of things that can be useful and enhance your gear, that go into sockets. Also getting another socket quest is not really that hard. Character can be rushed to Act5 Normal in no time nowadays ;)

It is clearly worth socketing. If you can't afford IST you can:

Find a nice 10-20mf jewel(maybe with a second mod of 3-5 res or something) and socket it in
Use a gull dagger on switch so that you still have a lot of mf when handling Bosses.
