Input needed on my Hybrid Zon!!!

Hello,

I'm returning to D2 like most after a long period of not playing. When I last played was back in version 1.09, then had some experience with 1.10.

Now I'm currently leveling an Amazon to take advantage of my favorite skill Lightning Fury. I also want to have another option using bows. Partly due to the style of play I have I don't like being left without options as I solo a lot.

I was thinking using Guided Arrow, but from what I hear it is no longer viable as a base skill in PvM? If this is the case then I may consider Multiple Shot and/or Strafe.

Now I'm not a big fan of Charged Strike so could someone explain why it is now all of suddenly a must have for Lightning Zons?

Appreciate any input giving.

Charged strike is a beast now. With 3-4 of the synergies you can rip through single targets (ie. bosses). I guess in a way it replaces 1.09 guided arrow since guided no longer pierces.

Seems to be much stronger too, especially if you combine it with -% LR/Light dmg facets/items + an Infinity merc.

Check that gunslinger thread for a pretty solid "mainly javs but can also use a bow" build with a lot of details. It's about as good as it gets I think.

Since none of the bow skills require synergies you can pretty much go full javs with just a few bow skills to handle mass LIs.

Thanks for the information. A lot has changed since I was around.
