View Full Version : Question concerning gear progression for skellymancer

I'm working on my first skellymancer, level 78.

I've gotten enough items to net me either Enigma / Beast.

I'm having a hard time deciding between the two.

On paper, it seems like Beast would make me unstoppable...But Enigma has teleport and MF, which would be useful, as I'm spending lots of time in the Pits.

Any input?

While Beast would be nice, I think Pride would be a better option overall. considering 200% ed from merc + 285% ed from the lowest pride over 93% ed, 80% ar, 29% as.

Enigma might do you more good having higher mf and teleport for minion positioning for the time being.

I was trying to figure out if Enigma was really worth it, then I gambled up a tele ammy to test out teleport. Wow.

I will never roll another minionmancer without enigma. My efficiency probably went up by about 500%. Being able to run baal, meph, diablo in minutes. Able to teleport next to monsters that rez to kill them...the uses are endless.

Just warning you though, if you do go the teleport route, you will want alot of block, fast hit recovery, and faster block. Until you stack those, you will die alot from teleporting. But it's still worth it overall even without those abilities stacked.
