Hi!! My name is Ally and I am from Montana originally but I am living in a ski town in Alaska called Girdwood now.
When I am not in the snow, or when I am not outside at all I am generally gaming whether its Diablo 2 or GTA4. I am also a big Mario Kart fan!!
I have been playing D2 off and on for about 4 and a half years, but since I recently heard about the upcoming D3 there was no way that I couldn't start up again.
So aloha from Alaska!!!

Hey!
Welcome to the forums and back to Diablo 2. ^^ You're not the only one who started D2 again because of the announcement of D3. ;)

I at least need to protect my shins. I have been warned :)
Is it strange of me to not stick with a certain spell tree? I have never really stuck with just one element. My main characters that I have had since I started playing have been Sorceresses.
What do you prefer? Is anyone else a player like that or am I the lone ranger?

Aloha from Hawaii, surprised to hear that greeting from someone who doesn't live here.
Sorcs are the most popular char (check the active users in the sorc forum vs. other classes), and with good reason. Best first character for starting and finishing the game, MFing, teleport skill, etc. Most people who play the latest patches make dual tree sorcs, for example the popular meteorb build which focuses mostly on frozen orb and fireball/meteor, with the important single point in teleport and static field. Most of us build other chars even if the sorc is our favorite, I guess it depends on how much time you have.
Droves of folks like yourself have come back to D2 with the D3 announcement, I can barely keep up with all the shin kicking!
