Simple question. If I find a magic wand, socket it, then put a runeword (White) for instance, do the runeword bonuses stack with the old magic bonuses of the wand? I.e. if the wand had 20% FCR and White adds 20% FCR do I then get 40% FCR?

You can't make a runeword into a magic item.

No, you can't.
Runeword can't be created in magic, rare, set or unique items. Just grey items...

They do work in ethereal and superior items though, but not in magic/rare/set/crafted/unique items.

However, if you find a non-magic wand with staffmods (+skills, that are on white/gray items) such as for instance +2 Bone Spear, and make a "White" runeword in such a wand, you will get both the staffmod bonus and the runeword bonus (ie. total +4 Bone Spear and +3 Poison & Bone skills).

Last ladder, I had a sweet "leaf" runeword in a grey staff which twinked any sorc early on (more so if she ended up being a fire sorc). It had +3 to fireball and +1 to warmth, and with leaf, I think it made it so I had +6 to fireball, +7 to warmth, +6 to a few other skills, and +3 tio the rest of the fireskills. I was proud of that one, even once I outgrew it.
