Best 3 Player Party (UBER TRIST)

Hey guys, I wasn't exactly sure what forum to put this in, so I'm gonna post it here. Me and 2/3 of my friends starting playing D2 seriously again, and we all got our mf characters set up, and now we want to build chars to take on uber trist.
Can you guys suggest the best 3 or 4 person party that will be able to team up and get the keys, the organs, and ultimately take down uber trist??

Smiter (main killer, fana + salvation)/Frenzy barb (BO/Shout, can kill too, and maybe tank those skeletons?)/Summoner necro (superior against mini ubers, uses Urdars for crushing blow, also uses Life Tap).

That should be a good enough party, considering you got some decent gear.

what about a conviction pally? Just curious how the -150% resists would affect a run.

A properly built Smiter can solo it, but a little help is nice.

Last season, I did a lot of Uber trist with 2 of my other friends.

I played the Smiter.

The other 2nd I normally did it with were a Trapsin, which did great for killing minions, using cloak of shadows and kicking bosses.

The 3rd that usually came was a Wind Druid. He provided a Nice oak sage for good health bonus (although it died pretty often) and killed minions.


In Short. One of you make a Smiter, or 1 point smiter(thats what I did, used Zeal the other times). The other 2 can make whatever the hell they want. If you can't get Dracs gloves then get some form of life tap, and have someone that can boost health. thats all you need really, Health Boost + Life Tap. Have fun.

We would usually pull Meph and kill him with salvation up. Then on went the fanatacism, and would kill whoever came next, after some practice it didnt matter we would kill Diablo and Baal at the same time.

I'd vote 2 smiters and 1 barb. Bo/howl/taunt with one running fanat and the other running salv. You can do cheap builds/items and it'll be successful.

My kicker/trapper actually found a hammerdin as a very helpful partner doing ubers. Hammerdin keeps the minions in check while I apply the CB. His conviction aura an added bonus.
Have him run salvation while doing meph.
