Kurast shield Exile?

I stumbled across and ethereal kurast shield with 29 all resist, and ~258 defense last night. I think the defense is max, since KS's range from 154-172, and 29 all resist is pretty good. I'm at work so I'm going from memory. If you had this, and the ability to get the runes, would you make an Exile?

29 all res is not much. I'd aim at least 35-40 all res.

you're right, it would get turned down in trade rooms a lot, but for just something to stumble across I could invest 2 high runes and get a great shield. it'll be used for myself and/or my friends.

by the way, does the eth bug work for sheilds? like if I socket this in the cube via an recipe will it get 150% d again?

Yes, eth bug works for shields also.

ah cool.. i might try that then. I figured since I see the 1.7k+ defense vortex shields every now and then haha. I try on armor a lot, and mostly get 3 sockets.. so it's like what the hell do I make? it's usually a duress or gloom for merc. avg defense is like 3.5k on the armors. thanks neksja :)
