View Full Version : Frozen Arrow, Immolation arrow and stuff

Hello, just installed the game for the first time in about 5 years! :)

Frozen Arrow, Immolation Arrow...

Why are these bad? I never see them in builds. I think I read Immolation Arrow has a refresh time? Is it only Immolation or all 3 Fire abilities?

I was thinking of a fire based build with a cold aura merc + valkyre. Will that just suck?
Will a cold build with might or defiance aura merc work better?
Multishot and Strafe don't sound too interesting to me (even if they hit harder).

Frozen Arrow is great with Cold Arrow's synergies. This is used in Strafezon builds.

You need some kind of physical attack in order to beat the cold or fire immunes in hell, and NM for that matter. If you don't go with strafe or multi what are you thinking?

Will probably use one for PI, just wasn't thinking of maxing either of them. Was just looking for some info on why I don't see Frozen Arrow and/or Immolation Arrow on builds...

I have made so many frozen arrow zons in my time that I have lost count. They are around, but it is hard to find then amongst the meteorb sorcs and hammer pallys.

No. Mainly because of the timer. Once you play a strafer, which is so quick a character, the timer just kills it (the fun, not anything else). Just an opinion, though, albeit, one that is shared by a lot of players.

Yes, exactly. You can freeze enemies in place and then burn them, but you have to wait so long in between Immolation Arrows it gets sort of frustrating. And against cold immunes, they aren't going to hold still while the fire burns under them. Most people use strafe or multi instead for better damage over time.
