There is no grey item showoff thread, so I'll put it in it's own thread.

The 2 hels I added to get the -100 requirement, it was very hard getting 4 jewels with no level requirement, -15 all requirements AND +20 poison damage.

That is pretty sweet. I always like collecting envy jewels for stuff like that, even though I never get around to making the stuff.

However, did you just want no req's? Otherwise every char can handle like 10 str/dex. But I have to say, the no req's is cooler then a bit more damage.

with 4 -15 req jewels it was still at 18 strength which meant the sorc, the necro and the druid still couldn't carry it without charms. As getting the right -15 req jewels was a bit off a hassle I opted to make the sword a nice round -100 requirements

it seems obvious that when you make such a thing, you don't sell it :)

But it is Non-ladder and I don't really play with new characters on there, maybe someday I'll give it away. I am trying to make a new one for the new ladder, I have posted a thread asking for jewels in the Trade Forum, keeping my fingers crossed.

There used to be old twink things like this a long time ago before I took my break from Diablo for a bit. 3 socket helm, 4 socket chest, 6 socket Military Pick with 13 +X to maximum damage (Forgot what the max was on a Jewel for +Max damage with a Req level 9) some rings, an ammy, those whatever required level 9 gloves, a belt, some boots. Level 9 duels were awesome :P

Nice sword. I know you made it fir the fun of it, but for practical purposes, a fifth -req/poison jewel and a chipped sapphire (just for slowing, not for damage) would have been better. It would have a str req of 11 then, but that can be solved with ease.

Regarding aesthetics, you should have added the runes in a different order and one of the green jewels needed a different color, for more symmetry :smug:

Next project for you: A long battle/war bow like that ;) Although I'm not sure if it's worth having a sixth socket and a bit more base damage at the cost of lower speed.
