I've been think about my next build and I want to make a support character for baal runs. Which of the builds would work beter for hc 8 player baal games in hell?

Golemancer:
20 Clay Golem
20 Golem Mastery
20 Dim Vision
20 CE
1 other curses and preqs.

Shock-Summoner:
20 Grizzly
20 Dire wolfs
5-10 Shockwave
5-10 Lycan
20 How or Oak.
Rest in spirit wolfs or shockwave

Well, I'm not sure about the necro but if you choose to go the Druid route choose Oak over HoW for HC matches. You don't need more then 10 in shockwave because you're +skill gear will get you to the 10 second mark which is more then enough. Throw the rest into Lycan for more health.

Warcry barb :D
Max leap too and keep monster in stun lock, but it may piss off some builds that likes monsters to be stationary tho!

The druid would be great in baal runs because of shockwave. Which can stun all of the mobs spawned. Add oak and beefy summons to the mix, and your a supporting/tank summoning machine.

The necro on the other hand I'm unsure about. I've tried and tested golems, only to find that they're just not that effective. 1 point cgolem 19 points skeles 20 skele mastery would be superior IMHO. And even then, I would stick with the druid.

People may like the Druid, until he Shockwaves that FELE and kills someone in the party due to they way its bugged to set off the death FELE explosion whenever stunned.

Had that happen to me more then once, ironically, what saved me from deeds was the massive Oak he was packing, so he both nearly killed, and saved me.

But it is a nice choice.

The Necro though, no way. The Golem is only one minion, and which nice, is no good unless he decided to charge into the fray, and stay were you want him to stay. The DV is nice for when you first enter the Throne (Souls and the likes), but once it is clear, you will want either Amp, Decrp, or LR being cast, not blinding enemies that shouldn't be much a threat with a decent party. Then you have the whole CE is weaker in P8 games. So its really a no go.

If you want to forgo the minions, a Paladin running Conviction with prayer maxed wielding an Insight staff is nice for the -def, -res, mana/life replenish. If you go the PDR/MDR route too, you wont need to worry about watching him as much.

However if price isn't an issue, you could always put an Infinity on a Prayer Merc for both, then wield the Insight staff with your Bear on switch. All in one with minions too.

I decided to go with a golemancer with point in revive.

I think party would appreciate a barbarian using BO and War Cry

I seen a barb on every baal run I've been in this ladder.

Doesn't clay golem only slow enemies that it hits? I think a paladin with a strong insight weapon, maxed cleanse/prayer for healing/poison removal would be awesome.. Like an ambulancedin (there's a few guides for it on the pally forums). They claimed it healed hundreds of health per second... sounds like something any baal run could appreciate.
