I currently play a fishymancer base because I remember from 1.10 that they could waltz (slowly) through hell naked or in Ptopaz armor (my current plan til I can gear a Hdin or sorc for speed MFing).

Now in 1.12 (ladder) I seem to have an insane amount of trouble managing travincal, baal's minionsand mephisto. No other places, just those. My skeletons literally fall over one by one even with decrep on everything nearby.

Currently I sit at 20 RS, 20 SM, 1 mage, 1 to each of the fishy curses with a few extra in amp, 20 CE, a couple in summon resist, 1 revive and 1 fire golem.

Should I invest more points in revives or mages to deal with these areas? Or will I have to bear with it til I can roll some summon GCs to make my army much more durable to compliment my MF gear? Lastly, does anyone have a clue what prices are on USeast ladder or can point me to a good source...I traded a combat GC for what I remembered it was worth in 1.10, but got informed a few minutes later I was ripped off  .

Welcome Newcomer to The Darkness. Grab a brew :guiness: and feel free to raise some corpses.

How many +skills do you have in your pre-buff gear?

With 27 SM and 25 RS I don't think I could take all of baal's minions. I rely on revives to get me through that part. Some special bosses in worldstone with a few mobs would eat through my skeles alone.

I got a +3 Sm wand (no luck on a better one from any vendors or drops), homunculus (+2 summon and curses) and an undead crown (+3 SM). That's it. Currently trying to gamble a +skills MF amulet, but gheed is being greedy, all in due time...:whistling:. I was looking at my next big trade being for a leoric or skulder's to improve killing power, followed by shako. I can secure a trang-oul's armor for an extra +2 for prebuffing, I believe my (low) lycander's is fairly worthless and can net me it with some trading work.

With +8 skills are going to be tougher than normal. Still that gives a decent amount of Revives when things get tough. Just Revive anything that falls. Don't be picky.

Some CB on the Merc should help with some of the tougher monsters. Speeding up the killing means that your Skellies take less damage.

Unfortunately none of the monsters you named are influenced by AI curses, so all you can count on is use of Decrep and LT. Combining these two could keep your Skellies alive longer, but the decrease in damage means that they'll also need to tank longer.

And ofcourse try not to take on too big a pack of monsters at the same time. Don't be afraid to run away and regroup with a TP.
