Finally solo'ed baal

While killing him i cooked dinner, took a shower, got taco bell, walked my dog and he finally died :(. Why must it take so long! Sad part is I'm 87 O.o.

Also, what can I do against Burning Souls? These mobs pretty much own me in 2 shots. No matter how slow I take it I somehow get 2 shot. These mobs are pretty much stopping me from MFing atm.

Crushing Blow works wonders against bosses, you should try it out.

Against Souls, buy Thundergods Vigor and get your light res up.

Also try using Dim Vision on them, thats what everybody else is doing.:thumbup:

Yeah, what Poppis said. T-gods and Light Res against the Gloams. Cast DV at the edges of the screen also helps.

Get some DB on your Merc. It will really cut down on the time needed to bring down a boss.

Baal has a lot of life....even with 25CB on merc I took something closer to 5 min to take him down

About souls, blackthorn's and plenty of mdr (at least 20?) seems to work for me too. And full light res of course

CB is almost a must for a summon necro.
And we're lucky that it doesn't really cost an arm and a leg for decent CB equip for ur merc. Make an Obedience runeword in an eth elite 5os polearm (40%CB) and you can even stack the CB even more with Guilliam face (35%CB). Against Hell baal, I can take him down in roughly 20-30 secs easy.

Whoever said sum nec sucks solo alone in hell is becouse they don't know the right equipment, skill distribution and gameplay to make a sum godly. Last ladder I have a godly hammerdin, this ladder I've a godly sum necro; if you asked me to choose between one of the two, I would say Sum Nec FTW in PvM and also great in PvP but not the best.

Yeah he has 35% CB right now and its a huge huge difference on meph at least. Baal runs were frustrating me, damn burning souls :(. Thanks a lot for the info guys.

Edit: All I have to say is wow O.o. I killed Baal in under a minute. I have never seen chunks taken out of baal yet it was nice to still have revives not gone after 90% ^^.

Well I too have successfully solo hell Baal'd... Thanks for the advice!
It also took me an absolute age without any CB on the merc.

So, since I am so darn poor and have yet to get a guils face*, after Lister I went to Durance lvl2 and found some of the big club weilding trolls that hang around there (Urdars?) - they have a CB attack, which speed things up massively.
About 4 of them worked like a charm (with spellsteel on switch for possitioning them on Baal).

*If anyone has one... ... ... ;)
