First off let me introduce myself,

i played D2 collectivly for 4 years before i decided to quit when i headed off to college (so my GPA wouldn't go in the ****ter). i played the necromancer heavily having characters for all the various builds and enjoyed them all very very much. i quit playing the game a few months after 1.10 hit.... the long awaited legendary 1.10

anyways, i was wondering firstly what item prices were now for the trang-ouls set.. i'm playing again causally with my friends to get ourselves mentally prepared for d3 :jig: , however i am sure quickly it will respark my addiction. so back to my questions:

1. Trang-ouls price
2. Hoccy price
3. Marrow walk price
4. Wizard Spike Price
3. Stormsheild price

these are the 3 items off the top of my head i can remember using for my MM necromancer, i havent done my research to see if there are new items or not either.

a couple other questions where more towards the class itself.

Are the melee skeletons still poopy or did they buff them?
Are the caster skeletons still mediocre?

and finally, what the hell is the currancy now, i know sojs went out years and years ago lol, but about how hard will it be to aquire those 5 items i am looking for, if i am just starting over?

thanks a lot, i look forward to talking to you guys more in the future!

Max Skellies, Skellie Mastery and one point in Amp and you can beat Hell. They really beefed them. Check this calc (http://tph.tuwien.ac.at/~gottwald/necro_pet_calculator.html) for some numbers.

When compared to Skellies the Mages are frail. Without LR or Infinity their damage can be a bit on the low side.
Some really don't like them since they aren't as strong as Skellies and can block the doorways for your Skellies. Others swear by them as a welcome source of elemental damage and ablative armor with a caster AI. Either love them or hate them.

and finally, what the hell is the currancy now

For trade questions please check the appropriate forum.

There are guides now, and the summoning skills have changed. Just as a side note I love mages, and they can do over 10000 damage altogether with 1 shot (of course you'll need lots of +skills and infinity for that).

Also, that equipment doesn't really fit a summoner

yeah i realize it doesnt fit a summoner but i seem to recall sets being worth next to nothing, and i have nothing, so...

Trangs set is one of the more expensive sets. The gloves and shield can be gotten for pgems, but the belt is a bit annoying to get your hands on. Armor and helm are also very cheap. For a budget summoner, trangs is a good choice, along with arm of king leoric. Otherwise wormskull can be a good helm if you can't afford the belt.
