I've heard a bit different things about poison durations. I don't know which one is right. Either poison duration is:

Poison duration from skills + (poison durations from items/amount of poison sources from items)

Or it's:

(Poison duration from skills + poison durations from items) / amount of poison sourced from items

I hope that it's the first one, but I think it's the second one. Can anyone confirm which one is right? For example, If I have a poison dagger duration of 20 seconds, and use a blackbogs sharp, the duration would be 30 seconds. But If I added a poison facet, would it cut the duration down to 26 seconds (meaning calculation 1), or 16 seconds (meaning calculation 2)?

I have heard it is:

for Poison Dagger plus any single source of item-based poison:
Damage = (SkillDamage/Sec+ItemDamage/Sec) over Duration ((SkillDuration+ItemDuration)/2)

for Poison Dagger plus any two sources of item-based poison:
Damage = (SkillDamage/Sec+Item1Damage/Sec+Item2Damage/Sec) over Duration ((SkillDuration+Item1Duration+Item2Duration)/3)

and so on. So it's the second of the two you said. HTH.:)

Ok, though I know that poison daggers duration isn't added to the amount you divide with. So actually with 1 item source it's divided by 1 (meaning nothing happens) and for the second one it's divided by 2.

Guess facets aren't allowed for daggermancers.

I guess this does not effect nova? It still stays at 2 secs? Or?...

Charms and stuff like that do not affect Nova.
