No one has thought of asking this yet. No one! Not even you! Everyone's retarded and has been too occupied bickering over the darkness/shading of the game or whether or not there will be a gold based economy. No one's thought to ask...

My question:

...

Will there be crafting in D3?????

...

I don't want to hear "oh waah, that's in WoW so we can't have it here, waah waah waah, blah blah" because it was in D2 FIRST.

The thought crossed my mind, but it probably hasn't been asked because Blizzard has not said in anyway if it will or will not exist. There is no answer for your question at this point. And I doubt anyone will cry it's too much like WoW, now you're just being paranoid about the kids who are paranoid about WoW.

Calling people retarded isn't the best way to receive a warm welcome into the community.

I'm sorry we are not all equal to your genius level intelligence, and so utterly consumed with wonder about an aspect of Diablo II that is borderline useless. How DARE we wonder if we will need to upgrade our PCs in order to play. Not only that, but the sheer audacity to contemplate possible forms of currency, which is the current backbone of Diablo II. My word, the thought that maybe, just maybe someone has concerns that are different from yours... that's just blaspheme!

To answer your question, I'm waiting to see more info before I really decide what I think should or should not be in the game.

Oh, and welcome to the community, nitwit.

Look under DIII items section, they thought of the question before you did apparantly. Even measley I was discussing it in a thread somewhere about rares.

The d3 team was asked about the horadric cube and cube recipes several times at the WWI, and always said they hadn't committed to it one way or the other. They could include crafting and transmuting w/o a cube-like thing, of course. Town machines in HGL, for instance. But it's definitely an issue under consideration.

I'm moving this thread to the items forum, for good measure.

If that is the best unanswered question ever I'm afraid that Theologians, Scientists and Philosophers throughout history have all been WAY off track
