View Full Version : Gameplay ghouls seem incredibly similar to those of Warcraft 3

Is it just me or do the ghouls in the gameplay footage seem incredibly similar to the hunched ghouls in Warcraft 3??

Also it looks as though Diablo in the cinematic has been genetically altered by the vampires from blade if u notice his mouth...

Could just be placeholder models. Easier to add a couple of animations to a placeholder for the purposes of a pre alpha demo than to create the full 3d model you intend to use along with all its animations.

A number of sounds you can hear in the demo are directly pulled from diablo 2.

OMG did you notice the zombies in World of Warcraft looked just like the zombies from D2??

And the skeletons in WC3 looked like they were directly lifted from D2.

What's going on here!?!?

Doesn't mean it sucks it means a dreadful thing even worse then sucking... Blizzard has officially lost its creativity! =O

OH MY GOD I Thought of another one. Even as far back as D1 / WC3 blizzard was getting uncreative...

Think of the gargoyle monsters. Directly lifted from D1 to WC3. Everyone just forgot because they weren't in D2!

You're not even safe from blizzards crative corruption in Diablo 1!! You must go to Blackthorne!

There was no need for Blizzard to blend Warcraft's art style with Diablo's, creating a mishmash of crap. Diablo had it's own style that separated it from Blizzard's other franchises, and they should have stuck to it.
