I actually really like playing badminton ..

The funny thing is that our old pastor introduced us to the game. he seriously had no idea what cornhole meant. I felt pretty bad for him, but it was really hilarious too. we never told him what it really meant either.

It's just throwing bags of corn onto a wooden platform with a hole on it, you get points for having them in the hole or on the board. It's rather fun, and you only play it with 2 or 4 people.

Ouch, that would suck. Yea, I do realize that most of the time no one gets hurt, but as with most sports it can happen still.
Yeah generally I would come home from a tournament with a whole lot of bruises, but other than that I would be fine.

I wouldn't think you would need your knees to be that good.
There is alot of stress on the knees when fencing, lots of start stop back and forth.

Not to mention the position is horribly uncomfortable. I had one training lesson and couldn't walk straight for a few days. That is not how legs are supposed to work. At least you don't get kicked in the balls so hard that you need a steel jockstrap.
I found it surprisingly comfortable, maybe they were teaching you wrong?
Never got kicked in the balls, but I did have a near miss with a sword. After that point I started wearing a box (cup for you silly US folk)

I suppose it is a lot of back and forth with the knees getting a lot of movement. Getting kicked in the balls would be sad :p

Haha...No. There will not be a next time.
I would just consider things like. How old I am, job, money, free time. Stuff like that. Not saying I regret having kids when I did, just that they are not a decision that you should enter into lightly.

Yes they are. You really can't realistically wait until you get all of your finances in order though, as that will likely never happen.
I know how you feel, that is why we are not planning on kids for another 3 to 4 years. Hopefully I will get a chance to work overseas and get some more experience (and thus better pay) before I have to support a family
I was only making 8 bucks an hour when mine was born, and my wife didn't work. You can make it work if you have to.

So? Just double up. The chances of something making it through that are so minor that you'd be entitled to special government funds.
