Quick theory on the evil penguin egg

I think it's related somehow to Blizzard North giving up on Diablo III, and moving to other companies. Penguins live where it's cold, which is in the north, and they're evil. I know this is kinda old, but what do you think?

Penguins live almost exclusively on the Southern Hemisphere.

Well, not saying anything about the evil penguin and Bliz North, there are a few flaws in your theory. Penguins live in the southern polar regions and AFAIK they're not terribly evil. But an inverted (ie. evil) penguin could in fact point to North... whatever :)

Maybe they were called "the penguins" (notice the Blizzard North-logo, it's frozen), so they made a picture showing that they were evil. Too bad the penguins live in the south, but perhaps Blizzard didn't know that either.
