It has been 20 years, I hope no one is still alive who donated to Wirt at some point in D1. Only Deckard Cain (if it is the same one) can possibly still remember his name and identify cerain bodyparts.

I think there is some kind of wirt's leg easter egg in Hellgate:london as well.

yeah, its in hellgate: london but its not "wirt" its "wart"... but we all know who they meant.
but then again theres a ton of diablo type stuff in that game... the hellgates look like red town portals from D1, they have monsters that look just like the sand leapers(or w/e) in D2 that even attack the same. even the classes made me think of D2.
