Level 68 now where??

I have just beat diablo in hell and that was a challenge. My resist suck and still using a 2h staff with plus to skills. Took me a long time as any type of elemental damage nearly one shot me to death. Now, I need to find a spot where I can kill fast and experience is steady. Chaos may be good exp, but am slow killing unless I can orb them. My time playing doesn't allow me to group much so need a good area where I can solo.

Any good ideas out there? I need to do alot of mf so could run meph alot, but those wraiths that cast meteor and fireballs really hurt and esp those dolls that explode.

Nightmare cows drop quite a few flawless gems and they also drop three socket shields.
Nightmare Mephisto can drop Shard and Ward.
You won't get much exp in nightmare, but the monsters are far easier to destroy.

If you can run hell mephsito you can get to lvl 70 that way. Other than that the best way to level is doing hell cs. I agree with the previous poster, get yourself a 3 socket large shield and put 3 P diamonds in it.

Memph killing can eventually take u above 80, but that takes time. Make the suggested 3 diamond shield to boost your res. Mf hell mephisto and gather some items to enhance your sorc. In full games you can do memph and fire eye in act2 (take arcane wp and go to portal that takes u back to palace 3) . It and its minions give some exp even to 70+ char.

If you are forced to play alone in 1 ppl games you can also kill council members with your orber. Boost your res up before you try that though.

I always liked to exp sorc in outer steppes and plains of despair. Nice big areas where u can retreat if needed. Thers also izual who is easy with static and gives nice exp.

and if you cant come up with a good weapon choice, do what i did:
shop a random necro wand with 20 fcr and a useful second mod (i took +mana, but there are often some with +30 to 40 to a single resist).

Appreciate the advice and thought I would update. I ended up running normal diablo for a shard. I hate losing my +2 staff, but the fcr will help with casting fireballs and also have a magefist? which has plus 1 to fire and 20fcr so with 70fcr I reached the next break point and my fireballs kill faster.

I have around 160mf and did like 25 runs before it dropped. Seemed alot faster than doing meph. I also found a twitchroe and took the advice and socketed a shield which now gives me 69 block. I have maxed resist now in hell unless I'm doing mf runs which now my target is finding my first soj.

So thank you all and wish me luck on finding a soj.
