Okay. So ASSUMING Diablo 3 will be announced and ASSUMING Tyrael is indeed lost, what does that mean for the HYPOTHETICAL Diablo 3 game that MIGHT be announced.

The game COULD be Heaven vs. Hell for the first "Acts," they might not be called Acts in the game, IF said game is announced. However, in said POSSIBLE game, Tyrael COULD be taken hostage by the forces of hell, IF they are in the SUPPOSED game. This would then mean that the player WOULD have to battle his/her way through Hell in order to save Tyrael, IF he is lost. Diablo's never really done hostage missions that end up well, except for Cain. :nervous:

However, this is all speculation and at this point it cannot be confirmed whether or not Diablo III is coming, so don't get your hopes up, just in case.

Just as long as they stick to the same recipe that made d2, I would be happy with almost anything. The only thing that would get me down about D3 would be pay to play.

im sure alot of people will pay to play it pay to play isnt bad as people think YES you bought the original game for retail price but they add more all the time. and not JUST little things you dont care about. how do you think blizzard is making WoTLK and SC2 and ANOTHER game simultaneously!? WoW is a great game itself and a billion plus dollars worth franchise. blizzard would only be doing us a favor in making it pay to play for us AND them. P2P games seem to have me hooked longer because of all the updated features anyways.

I don't see why everyone assumes Tyreal will be a big character in the game. Hell, the story designers might just kill him off at the beginning and start with fresh new angels.

Yeah, because it makes sense to dump familiar and admired aspects of a game's lore. It really screams "Hey old Diablo players, this is a sequel, not a cashcow attempt."
