About Those Two Hidden Images...

Do you think that hidden image in the source of the Blizzard teaser is concept art of a Lesser Evil, or some other important demon from the Diablo universe? (e.g. Belial, Azmodan, Astrogah, etc.) I've never read any of the Diablo books, so I don't know what these guys look like. Is one of them purple perchance? :whistling:

Well I'm seeing two puzzle pieces. If we should get six pieces altogether, then we have now the upper left and the middle right one. Should someone put them into same picture and leave the four puzzle parts gray? Then we could try to fill in the blanks or something.

Does it look like a corpse eater from act 4 to you?

If there's 6 pieces that could be linked to the word DIABLO, having also 6 letters.

Like someone posted here, D is the 4th letter of the alphabet and O is the 15th. The names of the hidden images have been 04.jpg and 15.jpg, corresponding the word DxxxxO. It also could be that 04.jpg would be linking to the 4th rune, Nef, since 15.jpg is linking to the 15th rune, Hel.

Could this indicate the order the runes should be read? Like if the runes in the splash are "shael" and "hel", they could mean words "shall" and "hell". If the third rune is "fal", interpreted as "fall", you could have a phrase "hell shall fall" following the order of the hidden images, instead of "shall hell fall".

The hidden image could be, simply put, an image of a seal (as in an animal). The word "seal" can mean two things: a sea animal and also seal like in both diablo games where you needed to open five seals before Diablo would appear. Posting a hidden image of a seal would be a great way of throwing us off our tracks and at the same time hinting to diablo game.

Yeah the more I think about, the more convinced I become.. Unfortunately no one else seems to notice the significance of the two meanings of the word "seal".

Maybe it becomes clearer with the next piece of the puzzle.

The splash page on the blizzard website depicts ice. If this is in reference to the Diablo universe, it could mean that "hell has frozen over".

Now, Diablo is red. Freezing something will turn it blue. Purple.

What colour do you get when you mix red and blue?

Personally I refuse to engage in idle speculation - especially when it comes to a game co. that is as full of itself as Blizzard is, who (unfortunately) know that they have legions of fans that they can keep in the dark and feed B.S. to like a crop of mushrooms...

...Can't y'all find something else to dwell upon until Saturday (or whenever the hell it is) when there supposedly will be some sort of official announcement?

A Co. as rich and arrogant as Blizz ought to pay for their damned publicity - my middle finger is fixed in a locked and upright position Re: all this viral, speculative horsecrap they're getting away with while barely rubbing two dimes together...

Diablo 3? Yeah, maybe, Great. Announce it already FFS. In the meantime, I'll be paying attention to crap that matters, like the fact that this is a US Presidential Election Year.
