Sounds perfect! I haven't played Diablo 2 in a long time, excluding occasional forays for 3 days with friends before the sods get bored.

So, I'm totally up for a fresh, no tweaking, no rushing, no cheating, all quests game of Diablo 2 LoD... before Diablo 3 comes out. :D

I'll grab this 1.12 patch and try and install these rune mods.

Any other takers? It'd be ideal if we had a group of 3 to 4 I reckon.

i'm up for some gaming, but i can't host. i have a bunch of guys in early or late NM, a single element sorc in act3hell or i'm good for hell baals or a new character.

Well, I can't host either, but I'm free for some Diablo 2 tonight (for the next 6 hours).

I play untwinked. Will start a fresh HC char with somebody. Will start a fresh SC char if the concept is interesting*. Otherwise have some level 7 to 18 normal chars close to finishing Act 1 normal.

*I'm big on under-appreciated builds and duos. Such as vengeance/conviction paladin + enchant sorc. Or fireclaws druid with such a paladin. Or poison necro with enchant sorc (lower res). And so on.

I can host in about 30minutes.

Should be able to see the screen by then.

Appears you guys made new chars while I was away (Damn job.) . . . Let me know if you guys need/want some help getting through nightmare. I can get you to Hell, and past if you want.

If you want to make new chars again, I'm down for that. Other than that, Colorless Green, if you could tell me your timezone, and playng schedule, maybe I could make sure to be on.

I've also got some characters around various levels (Not sure of acts, though, haven't used them in awhile.), so give me an update on where you're at, and I'll see what I've got around there.

@Colorless Green: Are summon/elemental druids good at SP? I've got some really, really good Druid equipment (Which is why I started a werewolf in the first place.), and I wanted to give that a try, and see if I can finally get to Hell Meph runs.

@Dark Matter: I, too, like to take my time, and probably do quests that I wouldn't normally do . . . It's shame they do move so fast :D

EDIT: Just so everyone knows, once school starts I'll be on much, much more (Sounds opposite, I know.) so I'll probably be able to meet any "get together" then.

Linpopo - has your 'friend' posted an intro, or joined the forums? Most people are uncertain as to legitness when random people with no history/information host games.

I can assure you that he is legit. We both deleted tainted stuff long time ago. Anyway I'll ask him to join forums and introduce himself :)

I'm sorry, but any random hacker from the internet can say he's completely legit and deleted hax. Who's to say he didn't start again after deleting items. I'm not trying to be rude (maybe I should quit while I can,) but it's a fair point - none of us know for sure, and have seen (or experienced first hand) having to delete stashes and characters because a new person claimed to be legit, and was later found to hack.
It's just caution that this community is wary of random outsiders, as trust is usually earnt over time.

I suggest any further discussions/questions be taken to PM (preferably with the mods,) as this is not the place to continue this (and I know I continued it.) My apologies for the hijack.
