@AA: Are you possibly running -ns? 'cause it'll crash every time you try to change acts if you are. Even if not, it seems unlikely that switching to MP is going to fix your bug.

And, while I wouldn't mind killing andy with you if you're convinced that'll help, I don't have any chars in hell that don't have the andy quest completed, so unless you can host you won't get the quest...

Actually, I am using the -ns command. I usually have winamp running while I play. I'd still be interested in hosting if you were interested in playing. Especially if you were bringing a sorc. HF can't get here soon enough.

Removing -ns will fix your bug. I don't really have any particular desire to rush you unless there's one specific spot you're unable to get by, which it doesn't sound like is the case (once you stop using -ns).

Current time is 8:20pm Sydney time, if you want to know what that is in your time then type 'time' into google. I will recommence at 9:30pm with the plan to get through both act 2 and 3. We have staff now so all you need to be is around level 21-25 by 9:30pm Sydney time then its go starting in arcane sanctuary. Btw, its /players 8 at course. Next game will be better organised. Game will continue to run if you just want to leave a quick comment on the message board.

The game will remain untouched until 3:00pm then moving on so if you'd like to jump in and leave a message then I'll create an update (plan) here. Was hoping on levelling to around level 43 then nightmare. But roughly the plan is to complete an act within 45 mins then rest for 15 mins for everybody to get other stuff done (whatever, coffee/atma/etc you know) so we can start a new act at each o'clock.

So from this post there's a good 1 hr and 45 minutes until starting from frigid highlands. I called the play style 'surging' which means you hit every damn thing you can a keep moving forward like a storm surge - no rushes from high level chars.

:thumbup: Yep definitely, we've just got to work out the timing as your post was unfortunately at around 4:00am here. Anyhow, for me its going to have to wait until Friday or later due to christmas. I might be doing some all nighter's later on around and after new years eve. I'll post back a day before.

Also I might be having a friend lan here soon so we can have a guaranteed 3 players session. However the plan for that would be to start in nightmare with a character in its 50's because normal is too easy. This lan session (if it does go ahead) will mean the game will be up for 18 hrs x 2 days. Going from around 9:30am to 1:30am Sydney time (with plenty of breaks).

The lan game will be to take characters from act 1 nightmare to hell baal or clvl 50 -> clvl 85'ish. There might be time to push a second character through nightmare if its fast enough, it usually is pretty fast paced (1 act/hour or faster). My ping is pretty crap so if anyone wants to plan a character then give this some thought too (eg necro/sorc is good, definitely not a phoenix striker though ;) ).

My friend might be playing a elemental druid, and i'll either be a frenzy barb or zeal/conviction pally. This is not the same as the all nighter though, that's a totally different case to the lan/online link up plan.

Hmm, turned out FOH was good enough for 1 person Baal runs. I didn't do Baal himself, but everything else dropped dead, especially after I put 11 points in Holy Shock. Currently level 44, waiting for some party members with which to venture into NM. Conviction is available, with -75% to enemy resistances, so hopefully some sorcs/elemental chars will turn up, but any will do.

I will try to join your game.

Sure mate, i was counting on you for my light to get it shine; only i don't want to run solo and run away to much from my sister while she is not playing so i play what i usually play, HC. As this 'two-soso campaign' is partially dependant on her i must be happy with feu hours a day :nod: and it migth come to that we are relatively slow going.

Other thing is my 'old' PC which is slow and lags pretty much all the time so i must clear it before it gets harder in game, but that shouldn't be problem..

I'm at work now, but will be home later. Anyone interested in celebrating the new year by staying up to ridiculous hours playing DII? I'm thinking either Baal runs, or maybe new characters. I'm in California, BTW, and may be able to host. (I haven't in quite a long time, but am now on a superfast fiber optic network, so hope for no lag.)
