View Full Version : Nasty lines and no walls/buildings when switching perspective on

Please look at pic to see exactly what I mean. The walls/buildings disappear from the screen and instead I keep seeing some gray lines stretching between various points on the screen as I walk about. In this pic for instance, Charsi's shop/hut isn't there. When I switch to perspective off, everything gets fixed.

My video card is an Asus EAH3870, and I've played Diablo 2 before with lesser cards, with perspective on, without any problems.

Anyone know of a fix for this? I'd like to play with perspective on, the game looks much better that way.

Thanks

I have had that too when I had that 3D effect on.
It means your videocard has the wrong driver or is broken.
If I don't put the 3D on diablo runs fine for some time, but I still get wrong pixels sometimes.
Best advice I can give is to reinstall your driver or buy a new video card.

yep, exactly the same problem here.
D2 ver 1.12a, P4 1.7gHz, 1Gb RAM, ATI 2600HD, WinXP SP3.

Obviously a "fix" is to turn perspective off or go to 2d mode, but thats not really a fix is it. any other ideas?
