Tal set: Blizzballer or Meteorb? [Archive] - Diablo 3 & Diablo 2 Forums

I'm gonna trade full tal set and I want opinions on which build you think are most fun. I've made many many sorcs, but mostly single elemental. But I've actually never made either of these.

The blizzballer seems like 2 semi buffed skills while the meteorb seems to maximize the skills better or does it just look like that on paper?

I'll make your choice a bit harder:

Personally I am a big fan of the lightning orber (mainly using chain lightning and frozen orb).

Out of the 2 you mention I prefer the meteorb, because orb and fireball give are fast. I don't like the delay in Blizzard. I know that Meteor is even worse but I rarely use it on my meteorb.

I prefer Blizzballer, but it's preference as far as I know. I don't think either build has any real advantages over the other.

Now I've gotten uncertain again. I'm lvl 20 and only got points in the prereqs so I can still go either way. Hmm... :D

Never made blizzballer, but I have made Meteorb. I hate both of them lol, 5k fireball is simply too low for my taste.

Maybe I'll try a CL/Orb.

Try 8k+ @ 8fpc. It's like a minigun combined with a rocket launcher.

I would say meteorb, because orb is pretty awesome and useful for pvm.

CL/Orb has got to be the worst build I've ever tried, btw.

I went meteorb. Currently in A4 nm. I'll see how it goes in Hell, the real challange. :)

Noooo!!! Urgh. Blizzballer is way more fun.

CL/Orb is kinda awkward... I'mna make CL/Blizzard or CB/Blizzard at some point.

I tried a firewall/orb build once and I will sum up the experience in one quest. I tried to complete the Den of Evil quest in Hell and it took 15 minutes because the cold immune zombies kept walking through the firewall and would not die lol. I tried running along my firewall so the zombies would walk continuously through the fire. Needless to say I feel there are other effective sorc dual builds :nod:

The key is your mercenary to help you make your target stay at one position so you can firewall the CI while he's wacking your merc.
