View Full Version : Leveling faster
:thumbup:Hi!
I've been playing Diablo II for a time now and there is one thing i would like to ask. I know that you can type a certain level from 1-5 or something. When you have typed a certain level you will gain more experience but the enemy will be harder to kill. I've been looking all over for the exact words but with no succes.... I really hope that anyone of you know what to write down and please tell me :) I'ts takes faster to level and more fun to play a little more harder.
/Thanks for reading! Over and out Daichi

in single player and open battle net only, you can use:
/players 1
...
/players 8
to simulate those numbers of players in the game (more experience, more drops, more hitpoints).
Thanks Carnivore for the answer really appreciate it ;)

you open up chat by pressing enter. type /players x into the chat field and it will return "players set to x"
Were would you type that... Is it only on a new Char (lvl 1-5)
If you are saying tat the Players X command is only useable on new characters from levels 1 to 5, this is incorrect. It can be used by any level character as long as it's not closed B.net.
As the experience gain is directly proportional to the hit point gain, I don't understand how that make leveling faster. Please explain.

You get more experience per area, and seeing as many monsters are 1-hit kills (like Fallens), it doesn't hurt to get more bang for your buck (more xp/drops for your kill power).
/players x is especially important in single-pass tournaments, where you are not allowed to clear any area more than once.

some of the more popular areas for runes are:
Hell countess (for runes up to Ist)
Hell Cow level
LK superchests (Lower Kurast - goggle it and you'll find a thread explaining it)
Hellforge rushing (making new chars and rushing them to do the hellforge quests).
