no str builds

How are no str builds built? Especially if you want to use Crown of Ages... Do you just get rushed to hell and do hell baal runs until high level, and equip enigma? But that still wont give you more than 75 str at 99.. where does all the str come from? lol

Im looking more into the hammerdin and zeal builds.

Hammerdin is what I use, I'm level 90 now but I started placing my stat points till I got my torch at 75.

I use a mage plate enigma because it has very low strength requirement and you get a decent enough total defense. I have a mage plate and a friend has an archon, his armor is only about 250 defense higher than mine, thats not that much.

The paladin starts at 25 strength so 25 plus 15 from my annie and 19 from my torch and by 75 I have enough strength for enigma with out adding anything.

That gives me 59 strength and by 75 the Enigma bonus is like another 40. So by now I can wear all my gear.

Crown of Ages needs 174 strength, with all my gear on I only have 164, just 10 short but again, I dont have a single point in strength.

My hammerdin is used primarily for just for key runs and Chaos

My gear:

Ahh ok. Im always one minded on builds, so I think of the best gear to use, but I never think about the sacrifices about it. I need to work on it. For my hammerdin, I planned on:

Crown of Ages
Mara's
Archon Enigma
BK, 10% FCR + resists
Spider
Waterwalks
Trang's
Spirit Shield
Wizardspike

That gives me huge FCR, but I guess the archon enigma has a higher str requirement to wield, plus im missing war travs (10str) and hoz (20 str).

For my Zealer, gear would be

Crown of Ages
Highlords
Archon Fortitude
BK, Duel Leach + resists
Verdugo's
Gore Riders
Dracs
Eth Vortex Exile
Grief PB

Again, I have archon instead of mageplate and missing the all powerful enigma in favor of the melee friendly fortitude. Although, I do have dracs (mine has 13 str), Im again missing HoZ in favor of the Exile build.

Guess ill have to look more careful in equipment wise, I just dont want to screw myself over when I switch gear. (for instance, str rings.. I have wisp, dwarf, and carrion that I may need to use from time to time, so dont want to have to relay on a crutch; not to mention MF gear shako, chancies, goldwrap, nagel, war travs)

I guess thats the fun part, finding a balance.

anni + torch + 10 fcr/20str ring + enigma gives me 158 strenght with base strenght. I'll get rushed to hell and start equiping gear after a certain level.

If MF is the way you want to go use the War Travelers but if its not, you can use a good pair of 15 strength Treks.

I have 3 main characters and they all use the strength bug thanks to Enigma.

My lightning fury zon is the bomb. She's all vita, no points in strength or dex but can use Phoenix Monarch. Awesome, Enigma is the bomb.

With those questions answered, I'm making a vita zealot build. I was wondering if I could get some help in raising my strength so I can use Fortitude instead of Enigma. If at all possible I would like to use as little str hard points as possible. This will be a PvM build that can also do ubers and mf. My gear as of right now will be...

Helm: Crown of Ages (Should I use a -15req jewel?)
Armor: Fortitude (Archon, Dusk Shroud, Mage Plate?)
Belt: Verdugo's
Gloves: Dracul's
Boots: Gore Rider's (Or War travs with -str.. or trek..)
Amulet: Im going to get a +2 pally skills, +str amulet. Hopefully with resists too!
Rings: Ravenfrost, duel leach with + str.. mabye resists or IAS! If its possible..
Weapon: Probably Grief PB.. is there a better zealer weapon out there??
Shield: Probably Exile in an ethereal sacred targe (can this be glitched when you add sockets for massive defense? Idk..) Are other shields better for this build?
Switch: CtA + low str Spirit shield.

I will have demon limb for massive AR boost, and glimmershred to attack physical immunes and iron maiden (a good 2 in 1 package, I understand other runewords help with physical immunes better)

Anni and torch charms. I just dont see being able to equip anything though without an enigma with its massive strength. Anyone have any good strats that can make this happen?

I have an no-str avenger build. the gear is as follows:

helm: Crown of Ages (BerBer)
Ammy: Mara's Kaleidoscope
Weapon: Eth Breath of the dying (Berserker Axe)
Armor: Chains of Honor (Archon Plate)
Shield: Eth Herald of Zakarum (Zod)
Glove: Dracul's Grasp
Belt: Thundergod's Vigor
Rings: 2x Ravenfrost
Boots: War Traveller

so I have bonuses to str from maras (+5), ebotdz (+30), Coh (+20), Hoz (+20, bear in mind that eth hoz has lower str reqs), dracs (+15), tgods (+20) and travs (+10) plus anni/torch (another 35ish) for a total of +155 str, which couple with my base str (25) gives me enough to wear the CoA. I had to sacrifice the verdungos belt for that, but I guess that the double Ber coa and the Coh sorta make up for it. An alternative would be to wear a non-eth hoz with Ber to get near max Dr%.

for a zealot, it would be a little bit trickier, but I think it should be possible. I'll think a little and look at some zealot gear. If I come up something, i'll post here.

Sweet thanks. I do have T-gods which I could wear.. but your build has HoZ, when I want to use Exile. Although, I read a thread that says Exile really isnt as good as it looks to be..not sure how that is though.

It's nice not having to put any points in strength to wear all gear, but not when you have to restrict yourself to certain pieces of equipment and not the optimal equipment.

Yeah thats what im trying to do.. no use any strength AND still wear my optimal gear. The biggest 2 things for me is I want to use Fortitude instead of Enigma (I have both, and I will use both.. Enigma for MF & rushing, Fortitude for everything else) and I want to use an Exile shield instead of HoZ (I have both.. I read that the exile isnt as good as what it looks to be.. but I dont see how HoZ is better.. I will be using an eth sacred targe).

I only sacrifice amulet and 1 ring as crutches really.. but if I can find what im looking for (mf or trade) it shouldnt matter as they will be godly anyways. Amulet im looking for will be 2 paladin skills, 30 strength, and resists. Ring, duel leach 30 strength and resists. Coupled with dracs , anni, and p torch I have almost 140 strength. Im still about 37 off that I need to make up.. somewhere~ So, Pcomb charms with 6 str, small resist charms with 2 str, small life charms with 2 str :P I dont PvP, so my charm slots will be the most important variable since I wont need 9 Pcombs with 45 life :P hehe.
