I have been building my zealot/1 pt smiter for ubering and I've finally maxed out zeal, sacrifice, fanaticism, and holy shield. Right now I'm level 83 and I have 3 or 4 spare skill points. I didn't invest in any defensive auras so far except salvation, in case fade from treachery expires before Mephisto is dead, since none of the defensive auras seem very helpful for a zealot (zeal and smite only cost two mana). Where do you recommend I spend my remaining skill points? Defiance? Conviction for better damage against PIs? Blessed Aim for AR? Also, this is a budget zealot that does not have top-of-the-line gear.

do u have a point in redemption that is good for any pvm pally, if you have that i would just pump defiance for defence. conviction is nice for pi's but you waste alot of points getting to it, too many for me in a zealot.

Since you probably kill PIs with amp rather than vengeance your only options are defiance for a little more defense, resist lightning/fire/cold (preferably lightning) for increasing max light resist or smite for slightly higher smite damage.

Don't forget to grab Vigor and Redemption. I find these auras to be very useful.

yes, I always get them as well, but it is also easy to do without if you would rather save the points. And redemption won't do anything in uber tristram.

I'd go with defiance seeing as its a synergy to holy shield, unless u just want more dmg then u could add to smite.
