Hi and Welcome to my (I'm called Ghandi sometimes) first FTS-auction


First I gonna give the rules, the readouts and at last the table.

Rules are:
1. Bidder must have FTS-status
2. HF-Rushed runes are okey
3. I have the right to say NO if I feel unfomfortable with a bidder
4. Minimum bid increase (see below)
5. The auction will end at 27th may 23:00 GMT (00:00 Swedish time)
6. If theres a bid-war in the end I have the right to lenghten the auctuion ONLY for just that item (I'll notify in thread about this if I do)
7. If rule 6 is in motion each bid must be posted within 5 minutes after the other. If not, we'll have a winner of that item.
8. Don't cube up the runes, you can send them uncubed but the lowest I accept is Fal Rune. (9 Fal = 3 Lem = 1 Pul and so on...)
9. If you doing 8, you dont have to send gems, unless the range is between Fal-Um
10. I send first

The minimum increase to a bid will be the rune that is two below the current offer. Okay, I really can't think of a good way to say it, so: example time. If the current offer is an Ist, the next bid must be at least Ist+Um, then Ist+Mal, then Ist+Mal+Um, then GulThe minimum bid has been copied from Scottes Auction

I saw one thing that can be misunderstood in my rules according to end-date.
by "The auction will end at 27th may 23:00 GMT (00:00 Swedish time)" I mean when the date turns to the 28th of may (swedish time 00:00 which means 23:00 GMT)

I'm sorry I should have written 23:59 27th may to make it more clear, well now you know.

Hi

I'm going away for a while, dont know when I get back home. According to rule 6

So how can I apply this when I'm not home?

I did thought this through and my solution is: If theres a bid war at the end of certain item/s, the auction will go on longer. However the term for this is that each bid must be placed within 5 minutes from the last one. So the auction will last as long as there are less than 6 minutes showed (by posts clock) between bids.

"26-05-2008, 23:57" and 23 h after I posted the 1h and now it is the 28th and the auction is closed for any futher bids.

Were did I go wrong in this?

The auction was suppose to end between shift of the day between 27th and 28th of may Swe-time which is 1 h before the GMT.
Whic hwas for over 20 minutes ago.

hmm so theres 2 h between then because of DST if I got it correct. aha I see now.
