I've read some opinions on best weapon for ww barb and wonder why so many suggest Honor Naga or Sweinhander? This runeword has zero ias bonus so you can't reach the ww break point right?

I have a 15 ed Naga and Sweinhander and was wondering which to use before I put points on mastery then noticed the full stats on the runeword.

Any opinions on point destribution is always welcomed. Thanks

NOTE: I didn't see a ww lvl 30 guide on the guide list, hope I don't get flamed for this.

Honor makes a nice choice for your offhand weapon since it hits so hard, and the + skill also provides a nice little boost to masteries like increased speed and natural resistances and the actual whirlwind skill itself (which helps reduce the -% ed at lower slvls). Ideally if you're planning on using axes, a 2 shael, 4 ed/max jeweled robo naga is probably your best bet.

Hmmm. So no Sweinhander? I just noticed my Naga is not 15ed but my Sweinhander is, I wanted to use Rhyme for the block and IK Gloves/Belt for the bonuses......

Hmm, thank you for posting, I'll go do some cow runs now.

This is what I have so far, don't laugh - Just testing it out.

2 combat, 2 Iron Skin 2os Helm w/ 2x 15 Max
Upped Twitch w/ 15 Max
Rhyme Grim
IK Gloves / Belt
Sanders Boots
Manald, Angelic Ring/Ammy
Honor Naga

There are a few things I can change, I have 20ed Bloodfists and a String I can try for the gloves and maybe another Manald and a Telling of Beads amulet.

I'll see how it goes.

Thanks again.

Agreed.

It's best if both weapons hit 4fpa

If you're going to use honor, make it in a zweihander. Honor naga deals too little damage (it's on par with a 2x shael and nothing else naga, with a little more res/frw/ar).

Obviously robo or rares are your best option, but are much more expensive to make.

Whats a "robo" naga?

socketed naga axe with 2 shaels for 4frames ww and the rest with ed/max jewels. My friend use honor off-hand, and I have to say I don't feel like taking many hits taken from him even if I charge through ww accidently. So I assume that better to be 4frames than little more damage, ds and skill point?

So using honor + robo naga will NOT hit the best WW bp?
