Morning,
Ok, i just tryed to log on but my passwords would not work :undecided:
Ok i used password recovery thing and i got a new pw from Blizard. I logged on and non of my characters where there. Whats happened? :sad2:
Can somone help me please? Can i get my stuff back?
well...start by contacting blizz suport ?
the most common answer will be. Don't give your PWD to anyone. And no you wont get them back :S
Blizz is slooowly killin dia community :(

But try this -
Have you given your password to anyone?
Does anyone know your password?
Does your brother know your password?
Does anyone have your E-mail Address/Password? - Somone could use password recover and then delete the E-mail to make it seem like nothing has happened.
Have you downloaded any Hacks/programs to do with DiabloII?
If so, What are there names? - They might have Keylogging programs in them which might of hacked you.
This is just to help you get an answer to what happened. Sadly, you wont get your items back :(
Good for you though, ill supply you with Full hammerdin/Smiter/Light soso Equipment (items/Skillers/Torchers/Anni's) and so on. PM with your list and ill get everything prepped for you :)

Chances are you have a keylogger..
get a anti-spy ware thing and check it out.
Otherwise, you are kind of "up a creek" since Blizz won't do anything to help you.

On what basis to you say this?
You don't know whether the OP had a keylogger, gave out his password, leant it to a friend or hadn't played the game in three years. Why do you assume it's Blizzard's 'fault'?
Apart from paying for the initial game, you pay nothing towards the upkeep of any servers, any support staff or any ongoing costs. You should be delighted they still run at all after so many years.
If you have a complaint, direct it to Blizzard. Your comment here added nothing to the OP.

If they cared more about us the servers would be a bit better, don't you agree ?
If you paid me £20 six years ago and nothing since, I wouldn't care much about you either.

Enough OT I think.
When did you last log on?
Characters expire after... some time, I don't remember exactly.
If it's an old account you just logged on after a year or something, chances are you forgot your pw, then they are gone, and you've NOT been hacked.
Having said that, it is entirely possible that you've been keylogged, typed your acc+pw in an IRC chan or had a 'friend' who knew your pw.

The point is, We still supported the game,when we bought it, and have been playing it, and telling other peolple to buy it. Isn't that supporting the game?
Hence Diablo still makes money. And Blizz doesn't care or support it.

The OP has made no referrence of characters still being there, but rather completely deleted, also he said his password was changed.
Even if you don't long on for a long time, you "characters get deleted" but you can still see them in your character selection screen, also your password wouldn't change...
More than likely he got hacked.

By the way, Characters dont expire anymore (Somone said on page 1). Your password can not change either so either somone "Hacked" your acc or your gear got taken by one of your friends or somthing. There are many reason on what could happen but sadly, we cant really find out unless the perp tells you it was him/her =]

I've got 8 accounts on europe with *NO* characters on them. They expired quite some time ago, then, after xx months of not logging on, they're completely gone. Not expired, *poof* gone.
also your password wouldn't change...As I suggested, it might be an old account he thinks he remembers the pw to, but actually don't.

I don't know if/when, but it should be pretty obvious why. They're preening their databases trying to cut down on how much data they retain. Old, empty, unused accounts seem like a perfectly valid candidate for deletion in my opinion.
Perhaps it happens when a reset is taking place (if it happens at all, I'm quite skeptical about that).
I can only remember the expire of characters from a few years ago, and since it happened to me once I have never let it get so far that it would happen again ^^

Well i have been speaking to BK for the last few days now and from what BK has told me, i have most likely been hacked Via KeyLoggers. Also, thanks for the comment :D
And yeah, BK has been amazing, he has given me a full charcter of Hammerdin Equipment, Fire Soso Equipment, Light Soso Equipment, Psn Nova Equipment and Smiter equipment, Over 25 High runes worth!:shocked:

I know this doesnt help much but if you play any EuHcL then im happy to supply you with eq for a character. As for softcore im fairly poor so there aint much i can do there. Sorry for your losses. Do a virus scan on your pc. Avast is good
