I have a full vita (no block) wind druid and I was dueling a charge/smiter, I saw him go into recovery animation a couple of times, but when I checked, he had received nearly no damage. Was he using pots or can a pally actually take a couple of nados and be at 75%+ health?

My nado damage is 6.6k.

Also, whats the proper tactics for dueling a smiter?

mystified

yeah he could prolly take couple of dmg, since good ones can have huge life with 50% DR as mandatory vs druids. which means you did around 500~600 dmg after all pvp penalty. ofc that would mean that he had around 4000+ life which is doable with good gears.

duelling versus chargeer is to have block. that much i am sure.
not much experience in dealing with smiters with druids tho

could I makeup for block by hitting the 174 fhr break point or the 163 fcr breakpoint?

yeah good smiters can have as high as 5k + hp and max dr meaning they can tank also there might have been a chance lifetap went off which means auto juv leech from minions.

About the fcr and fhr bps most ppl have block at 99fhr/99fcr bp as it allows dr as well as block easier

Its not too hard to play defensive vs. smiters, assuming you're 163 windy.

If against mass desynch, tornado spam and tele in your line of fire.
