I have had it several times, just not that bad. Minimizing D2 and bring it back up again usually helps. I never figured out what it was causing it, but someone I spoke to suggested it might be AVG antivirus program causing it. The 2 others I've spoken to that have had that problem both used AVG.

Is one reason. It's usually a program in the background that is running when you alt tab back into d2. I get different colors when I have a movie playing in the background =P funky teal.

I saw something like that once too, I was at work one day, maybe 3 or 4 years ago around the Christmas holidays. I was stuck here all day by myself with nothing to do so I brought DII & LOD in with me. The comp I used could only connect to the nternet through AOL. I had to have AOL running mimimized to be able to play online, AOL looked like that the whole time DII was running and DII had simillar graphical problems.

I think it did have something to do with that. This game started after I clicked "cancel" when the game was being created, I had created a new game fast so I thought I'd get failed to join. But lo and behold, the door opened and I was in the game. I started at harrogath with a normal screen, but when I went to travincal by wp it turned into this. The game was in windowed mode the whole time, I didn't mini/maximize. I had very bad ping, and got "connection interrupted" short after the screenshot. The ss is the internal screendump in the diablo folder, not one I made of my screen btw.

It's happened to me several times even with low ping. Everything have seemed like normal except for the messed up colors. I believe I got a few pics hosted on imageshack :scratch:

That graphics glitch happens when a Program running in the background tries to open a UI on the screen or launch a browser. I have not seen it for a while and figured newer graphics cards had nixed the issue.

Windows Auto Update was a sure fire way to get that or much worse.LOL!

It happens to me about a minute into every game I play, and I minimize and then full screen again and the game fixes itself.
