View Full Version : Staff mods and Charges: What skills can't spawn?

Trying to get a list of skills that can't spawn as staff mods also skills can't spawn as charges anyone know of one or memorized them :rolleyes:

For staff mods their are:

Orb/staffs- I've seen almost all sorc skills on these I think
Druid Pelts- Never seen S/S skill of wolf or bear not sure
Paladin scepters- all combat skills and auras 99% sure
Barb Helms- clueless =p
Necro heads/wands-no seepoision dagger staff mod
Assassin claws- all skills can be staff mods 99%sure
Amazon jav/bow- skill tab to bow or jav no passive and no single skills.

Charges on item:
Even more clueless, but most are of no use

Except for Amazon skills, all can spawn as staffmods. There are a few that are not *supposed* to spawn though, and are therefor are much rarer. I believe these include the Druid and Barbarian attack skills, Poison Dagger (poison dagger on a wand is pointless anyway), Smite and Holy Shield.

Available charges can be found in the affix list on the Arreat Summit.

I'm aware that Holy Shield can be a staffmod if the game fails to select a valid mod 7 times in a row or something equally obscure, but does anyone have an actual probability? Just curious.
