I want a list of a few good pvm chars that are good for priv pvm walk throughs.

The question is really what type of character do you want to play? With a little patience and strategy you can take lots of builds through the game. Some you'll need to spend more time looking for good gear.

Any char can make it through the game, just depends how hard you want to make it on yourself.

By "walk throughs" do you mean rushing other characters? In that case, these are my favorites:

SP/LAN/TCPIP: 200%FCR nova/orb sorc.
Bnet: 200FCR lightsorc with infinity, or just about anything with enigma.

About your 200FCR lightsorc with infinity:

What equipment do you and your merc use ? (please include charms)

Where did you put your skill points ? (which cold armor ?)

Walkthrough means doing a full clear solo.

A decently equipped strafer with Atma's Scarab and a few points in magic arrow can probably make a walkthrough as well. There might be a few tough enemies, like the Ancients, but a merc, a maxed valk and endless decoys does the job - I did the Ancients in a 3 player game with my zon solo, although I probably reset them with TPs (purists might consider that as cheating) if there was a PI one among them.

Apart from that: Hammerdin. The wailing bests in the act 3 temples are to be dealt by the merc, everything else should be no problem, of course. In case you are unlucky and you encounter a PI wailing beast boss, get something with amp charges or ctc amp.

Poison/summon necros do great in walkthroughs, I'm doing one in hell as we speak.
